Community Kinship Program - South East TAS

Children & Families

Rosny Park, 7018

The Community Kinship Program supports grandparents and other relatives who have assumed the role of primary caregivers to a related child/ren, often in difficult family circumstances. The program helps carers to develop their confidence and parenting skills, and helps them connect with schools, the service system, and other supports in the community. CKP has two streams of support, case management and brief intervention for clients who are on the CKP mailout list. CKP also runs support groups, a school holiday activity, a quarterly newsletter and has access to brokerage for respite and material resources.
