Intensive Family Preservation - Broken Hill

Children & Families

Broken Hill, 2880

The Intensive Family Preservation service in Broken Hill supports families with children and young people to build their safety and wellbeing with the aim of intervention from the statutory child protection system. Through intensive, in-home case management, Intensive Family Preservation supports families to build the skills and resilience for children and young people to remain safe and well within their family unit and reduce the risk of placement breakdown for children who are in out-of-home care. The service is based on the understanding that it is in the child’s best interest to remain in the care of their family, wherever this is a safe option.
