Family & Domestic Violence

Pilbara Family & Domestic Violence Coordinated Response Service (CRS) assists victims of family and domestic violence who have had police attend an incident of family violence, which has resulted in a domestic violence incident report (DVIR). The CRS works alongside Western Australian Police, Child Protection and Family Support, and Department of Corrective Services, offering support to people at high risk of violence to build their safety, away from further abuse. CRS is delivered in the Pilbara and Geraldton in conjunction with numerous other lead agencies within the family and domestic violence service system.

Who we assist

Victims of Domestic/Family violence who have had police attend an incident of Family Violence and have completed a DVIR report. The Triage then identifies high risk clients who are offered enhanced services to assist them to gain safety from further abuse.

Police DVIR report

Referral process

WA Police, WA Child Protection and Family Services and The Non- Governement Agency (MA) jointly review and triage recent police DVIR reports to identify victims at high risk of harm. These high risk victims are then offered high level support to increase safety of the victim and their family. This will include multi-agency support.
