Connections supports adults with lived experience of mental illness in Broken Hill and are suffering with loneliness and social isolation. The program is delivered after hours by Peer Support Workers who work with the participants to help develop support networks through engagement with their local community. Connections targets those who access more than one mental health service or emergency service, although this is not a requirement for participation. The service also provides pathways to education and employment for people with a psychosocial disability.
