Enhanced Adult Community Living Support - South Eastern Sydney

Mental health recovery

Enhanced Adult Community Living Support (EACLS) provides recovery-oriented psychosocial supports to complement clinical supports delivered by Local Health Districts, for people aged 16+ with severe mental illness. Support includes transition from hospital or correctional facilities to community living. EACLS delivers training in daily living skills including personal hygiene, cleaning, shopping, cooking and transport. Clients are also supported to comply with medication and access clinical assistance such as medical appointments, and participate in education, vocational training and employment. Participation in social, leisure and recreational activities is central to support.
