Mental Health Recovery
Katherine, 0850
The aims of the Commonwealth Psychosocial Support (CPS) program are to:
Work in partnership with clients who are not funded through NDIS and are significantly affected by severe mental illness, which impacts on their associated psychosocial functional capacity.
Provide psychosocial supports (non-clinical, community-based supports) that aim to facilitate recovery in the community for people experiencing severe mental illness. This can include services to help people manage daily activities, rebuild and maintain connections, build social skills and participate in education and employment.
Services can be delivered through a range of formats, including individual support, place-based services and group work.
