Kingston House supports young people, aged between 12 and 15, who are experiencing or at-risk of, homelessness. Kingston house will provide safe, stable medium to longer-term accommodation in a nurturing home-like environment, for up to 5 eligible children and young people at a time. Priority will be given to children and young people who are not subject to Care and Protection Orders (CPO), and for whom family restoration is a realistic option. It will primarily focus on family restoration, working with children, young people and their families to resolve family conflicts, improve relationships and improve the broader wellbeing and care needs of the child or young person.

Who we assist

The Kingston House Program will provide therapeutic residential supports for young people aged 12-15 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and have potential for reunification with family.

Eligibility criteria

Young people ages between 12-15 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Kingston House will support mixed gendered clients who are low risk and whom family restoration is a real and viable option.

Referral process

Referrals will come through the Program Manager for review.
