The Northern Sydney District Early Homelessness Early Intervention and Prevention program helps young people, single men, women and families throughout the Northern Sydney district who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. The service works to rapidly rehouse or stabilise living situations before homelessness becomes entrenched, and resolve the circumstances that led to their housing being placed at risk.

Who we assist

The Northern Sydney District Homelessness Early Intervention and Prevention Program focuses on intervening early to prevent homelessness and provides support to tenants at risk of homelessness by addressing the issues that are placing their tenancies at risk. This service will provide services to young people, single men and single women and families who have ties or connections across the Northern Sydney district including the Hornsby, Ku-ring-gai, Ryde, Hunters Hill, Mosman, Pittwater, Lane Cove, Manly, Warringah, Willoughby and North Sydney Local Government Areas.

Eligibility criteria

Client need to be in the Northern-Sydney district including Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Ku-Ring-gai, Lane Cove, Manly, Mosman, North Sydney, Pittwater, Ryde, Willoughby and Warringah LGAs and at risk of homelessness or currently homeless.
