YouthBeat provides support to young people 18yrs and under present in the Perth inner city and Northbridge areas.
YouthBeat provides a safe supportive place for young people to wait, while arranging their return to safe accommodation. All young people engaged through the YARS are offered case management support for up to 12 months.
Young people are engaged through street based outreach and through the Youth At Risk Strategy (YARS). We work collaboratively with the WA Police Force, Department of Communities Crisis Care Unit and the Nyoongar Outreach Services on Friday and Saturday nights between 9pm to 5am.

Young people present in the Perth inner city looking for support to achieve their goals including; connection to education, their local community and other support services.

Referral process

Referrals are through the Youth at Risk Strategy.
