Who are the hidden homeless?

Did you know only 7% of people experiencing homelessness are sleeping rough on our streets¹? Hidden Homelessness can happen to anyone, through no fault of their own. Illness, job loss or domestic violence can mean people end up homeless. To survive they live in their cars, a garage or other temporary, often insecure accommodation.

Every night in Australia, over 116,000 people don’t have a safe place to call home¹. Together with our Hidden Homeless Allies we can provide immediate relief and ongoing support to vulnerable Australians like Melinda and Katy.
