Christmas newsletter 2020
Sharing the blessing
Every Christmas, I’m reminded that it's a blessing to be surrounded by family and loved ones.
We’re all facing tough challenges this year, so I want to personally thank you for choosing to be a beacon of hope for children and families in their time of need.
Christmas can be a lonely time for some of us, says Ben Carblis, Executive Community, Children & Family Services.
The festive season is not always easy for people in need and many vulnerable people struggle with a greater sense of isolation and loneliness during the holidays. With COVID-19, more children and their families are closer to homelessness, but your contribution continues to make a life-changing difference.
I hope you feel inspired by the heartwarming stories of transformation and hope in this newsletter. It's through the generosity of people like you that we can do our work.
On behalf of the children and families you've helped this year, thank you!
I hope you and your loved ones have a safe and Merry Christmas.
Mission Australia conducted its 19th annual survey of young people aged 15-19 in 2020.
The survey aims to identify young people’s values, aspirations and concerns. This year’s survey had a special focus on young people’s experiences of unfair treatment and COVID-19.
