What does Easter mean to you?

Easter means different things for people – for some, it’s an opportunity to spend time with loved ones but for others, Easter means much more. Easter is the epitome of the Christian faith, representing rebirth and renewal as we remember the death and resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

This year, we are particularly concerned about the government’s intention to end the JobSeeker and JobKeeper payments. When the payments were introduced, we saw firsthand how it helped many vulnerable Australians. 

Permanent reductions to these much-needed payments will put children and families at greater risk of homelessness. Our team are anticipating an escalation in financial stress and concern among the already vulnerable people we help.
