Mission Australia is committed to delivering the Local Area Coordination (LAC) as part of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across Western Australia.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) allows Australians with a permanent and significant disability the freedom to choose the life they want to live.
The scheme helps people with disability to access the supports that are right for them and assists in building their skills to actively participate in their community.
Local Area Coordinators work with people with disability and their families. They can help you to understand and access the NDIS and link you to information and support in your community.

Who we assist

People who have a permanent and significant disability as defined under the Disability services Act 2011.

Eligibility criteria

Age - under 65yrs at time of access
Residency - Australian Citizen, hold a Permanent Visa or hold protected special category visa
Permanent Disability impacts on functional capacity
