The Premier's Youth Initiative (PYI), delivered from MAC Kingswood, is for young people leaving out-of-home care (OOHC) who are likely to be homeless (or at risk of homelessness) when they leave care. Expanding on the current aftercare service by offering a suite of interventions to bridge the gap between OOHC support and independent living, PYI activities build the long-term capacity and resilience of young people so that they can be permanently diverted from the homelessness service system.

Who we assist

We assist young people who are between 16-19 years of age.

Referral process

PYI is a closed referral service. Referrals to the service are completed through the NSW Family and Community Service.
