The Casework Support Program targets young people under 18 in the youth justice system who are assessed as having a medium to high level of offending related risk and need. The program helps young people to integrate in to the community, overcome challenges relating to their offending, and enable them to participate meaningfully in the community. The program provides young people with knowledge/skills them to address their offending behaviour through positive means. The young people are identified by NSW Department of Youth Justice Case Workers and are typically are on mandated orders (Supervised) either in community or exiting custodial settings.
