The Housing Support Program – Perth Metro provides intensive support to help people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to alcohol and/or other drug use, to secure long-term stable accommodation. The program aims to prevent people from becoming entrenched in homelessness. Referrals and referrals come from AOD programs, NAHA accommodation and the Department of Housing where tenants are at risk of tenancy failure or eviction.

People who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to their alcohol and/or drug use or others residing in NAHA accommodation

Eligibility criteria

People whose drug and alcohol issues impact on their homelessness or risk of becoming homeless.
People residing in NAHA accommodation services

Referral process

Referrals are received from the AOD referring programs and NAHA accommodation, referrals from Department of Housing is able to refer initial clients at risk of tenancy failure and eviction.
