CBRE employees give a facelift to Wattle House front entrance
- Details
In mid-August, 11 volunteers from CBRE, a real estate services company, spent some time on a makeover to the front garden entrance of Mission Australia’s Wattle House in Perth. While there, they had the chance to hear from staff about the important work Wattle House does, providing support and accommodation to families who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
“The team had a really great day at Mission Australia last week and were fortunate with beautiful sunshine for the day,” said CBRE Operations Manager for WA, SA and ACT. “They thoroughly enjoyed the project and end result and really enjoyed the people they met and worked alongside throughout the day. They were all very inspired by the work that Mission Australia does and we have committed to supporting their Christmas Drive for required goods later in the year.”
Volunteer Jess Garner enjoyed the overall experience, saying “The (Mission Australia) staff there were so welcoming and openly shared details about the services they provide and the associated challenges.”
