Conflict of Interest Policy

The Conflict of Interest Policy provides guidance on solving ethical dilemmas where a conflict between a work interest and a private interest arises. For instance, a staff member should never be part of the decision making to employ a family member or friend. It also establishes a central register conflictregister@missionaustralia.com.au where conflicts must be recorded.

Whistle-blower Policy

The Whistle-blower Policy provides alternative reporting mechanisms and protective arrangements to encourage people who work for or with Mission Australia to speak up about possible wrongdoing for early resolution.

Gifts & Benefits Policy

The Gifts & Benefits Policy provides guidance on solving awkward moments where a gift or benefit is provided to people who work for Mission Australia in the course of carrying out their duties.

It also establishes a central register giftregister@missionaustralia.com.au where gifts & benefits must be recorded.

Fraud Control & Corruption Prevention

The Fraud Control & Corruption Prevention Policy establishes roles & responsibilities to prevent, detect, investigate and respond to fraud or corruption incidents. It falls within the Fraud Control Strategy.
