Meekatharra Housing & Support Service (MHSS) will provide a transition pathway for families, women and children who have a desire to transition out of unsafe and/or unstable housing situations with support. MHSS will provide medium term accommodation combined with case management and community development.

Who we assist

Client demographics will evolve as this service will be established with an iterative, codesign focus.
The cohort will likely include;
Individuals, couples, and families who may or may not have children residing with them within the catchment area of the Meekatharra area (Mt Magnet, Wiluna, Cue, Yulga Jinna).

Eligibility criteria

Eligibility criteria to be determined via a community consultation and design process.

Referral process

Key referral networks would include:
Other local MA services;
Self-referral
Other service providers – Meekatharra;
Elders and Aboriginal Community Groups;
Other service providers in outreach communities;
Other service providers in the communities women re-locate to.
