Christians are called individually and corporately to care for the needy. Our tools are designed to help you do just that, by equipping you and your church to put your faith into action.
We truly appreciate your support to enable Australians in need to reach their full potential.
“Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God.” Proverbs 14:31
The power of prayer
By becoming a Mission Australia prayer partner, each week you’ll receive specific prayer points for a different service around the country. Available in your choice of a weekly email or quarterly printed prayer diary in the post, you’ll be joining hundreds of Christians around Australia in prayer for people in need.
Engage your church
Are you passionate about showing God’s love to people in need and looking for ways to engage others in your church family?
Our church resources are ideal to equip your congregation or small groups to address key issues of national importance, such as homelessness, domestic and family violence and children in poverty.
Sermon outlines and Bible studies help people understand:
- The extent of issues using current statistics and case studies
- What the Bible has to say about these issues
- How Christians are called to respond.
